Ulmus, Egri Bikavèr 2016

Egri Bikavèr ("Bull's Blood") 2016 is made from a blend of Blauer Portugieser, Merlot, Zweigelt and Cabernet Franc. A hearty, full-bodied wine with notes of blackberry, bramble, red cherry and dark chocolate. Some oak ageing as well as time spent in bottle has mellowed out the tannins and provided a supremely silky texture balanced with a good level of acidity. A great wine to pair with chilli.
